Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?
In connection with the purchase, we collect the following information from you:
• First and last name
• Address
• E-mail address
• IBAN number (account number)
In connection with the usage of Vendor in-store applications, we process flowing data:
• Cookies Foxway.tech and mediamarkt.ch.foxway.tech
• User data: User name, First and last name, E-mail address, phone number etc.
• System logs: user activities, connection IP addresses, session logs etc.
The collection of data takes place,
• in order to be able to clearly identify you as the seller of the goods sold to us,
• for the proper processing of the purchase contract with you,
• to ensure stable investor application availability and cyber security,
• for the processing of any liability and defect claims, e.g. in the event that third parties assert rights to the items sold by you.
On what legal basis do we process the data?
The storage and processing of the data you have provided is carried out for the purpose of processing the contract in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR and is necessary for the before mentioned purposes.
How long do we store your data?
After the contract has been fully processed, your data will be blocked with regard to tax and commercial law retention periods and deleted after these periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data.
To which recipients is the data passed on?
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the processing of the purchase contract with you in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. b GDPR and Art. 13 Para. 2 lit. a GDPR. A transfer to third countries does not take place. Within our company, only those persons have access to your data who require this for the proper processing of the contract concluded with you. Insofar as your data is recorded by employees of our cooperation partners, this is done exclusively on the basis of an agreement with our cooperation partners that is required under data protection law.

The data is processed exclusively in data centers within the EU.
Your rights as a “data subject”
You have the right to information about your personal data processed by us.
In the event of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may then require evidence from you proving that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have a right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, insofar as you are entitled to this by law.
In addition, you have a right to object to processing within the framework of the legal requirements. Finally, you have a right to data portability, i.e. in particular to
receive the personal data in a structured, common and machine-readable format
or to request the transfer to another controller.
